Total cellular membranes were isolated from whole kidneys from both male and female WT and KO mice and immunoblotted for Sglt1 or Sglt2. (WT n = 8 [4 males, 4 females], KO n = 7 [4 males, 3 females]). Densitometry using ImageJ software confirmed that there are no differences in total expression when normalized to actin levels (graph). Data represent mean ± SEM.
