(a) Annexin V-Cy3/6CFDA dual staining of HepG2 cells exposed to 1 and 10 μM arsenic trioxide with untreated control. Arsenic-treated cells of 1 μM demonstrate no significant changes as compared with control, whereas 10 μM arsenic-treated cells exhibit considerable number of apoptotic cells represented by Annexin V-Cy3/6CFDA dual-positive cells, which appears yellow-orange in the merged panel.
