Pathogenesis measured by weight loss after vaccination. Seven-week-old female BALB/c mice were inoculated i.n. with VSV-EnvG (solid triangles), VSV-CT9EnvG (open triangles), VSV-CT1EnvG (solid diamonds), rVSV (open squares), or DMEM (open circles). Mice were weighed (minimum of three mice per group) each day after vaccination at the same time of day. Error bars are the standard errors of the means.
