Plasma concentrations of human IL-1β (A), GM-CSF (B), IFNγ (C), IL-10 (D), IL-6 (E), TNFα (F), IL-2 (G) and IL-5 (H) were analyzed using an ultrasensitive cytokine bead array 4 weeks after PBMC reconstitution and arterial injury. Significant differences between injured and sham-operated reconstituted mice were found for IL-1β, GM-CSF, IFNγ and IL-10. The n-value reflects the number of mice included. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01. (nd =  not detectable; ns =  not significant).
