(A) Fresh protein lysates of epidermis from transgenic (K5-Myc) and wild-type (WT) samples were sequentially immunoprecipitated with anti-p21^Cip1 or anti-p27^Kip1 antibodies. Epidermal proteins were incubated with either anti-p21^Cip1 or anti-p27^Kip1 antibodies (1st), and then the supernatants were incubated again with the same antibodies (2nd). Proteins immunoprecipitated in each step were analyzed by Western blotting with antibodies against CDK4. CDK4/p21 (B) and CDK4/p27 (C) complex formation levels were quantified with a densitometer.
