Approximately 5×10³ cells/mL were seeded on 35-mm glass slides. After treatment with HMNE3 for 48 h, the cells were washed twice with PBS and incubated with 5 μg/mL Hoechst 33258 for 10 min at 37°C in the dark. The nuclear morphology was then examined under a fluorescent microscope.
