Purified halogenase (10 μm) was incubated with agitation at 30 °C for 1 h with Fre (1 μm), GDH2 (6 μm), FAD (7.5 μm), NADH (200 μm), MgCl₂ (50 mm), glucose (20 mm) and substrate (0.5 mm) in a total volume of 100 μL in potassium phosphate buffer (10 mm, pH 7.0).
