To identify key regulators of oocyte maturation, adult females were injected with dsRNA targeting GFP (a), Met (b), SRC (c), EcR (d), BR-C (e) and GATAa (f). The ovaries were dissected on day 3 after feeding and mating of knockdown insects. The ovaries were stained with DAPI, and the primary oocytes were photographed under a confocal microscope.
