(A) Puromycin-resistant BHK-21 cell clones and parent BHK-21 cells were infected with rPPRV/GFP at an MOI of 0.1 for 3 d, and puromycin-resistant BHK-21 cells that showed the highest levels of green fluorescent and largest syncytia were selected as high SLAM- expressing cells. (B) The BHK-21 parent cells showed little green fluorescence and no syncytia formation because they did not express SLAM.
