Atg7Δhep mice have a decrease in autophagy. Littermate control (Cre −) and Atg7Δhep knockout (Cre +) mice that had all been pretreated with tamoxifen, as detailed in materials and methods, were killed at the indicated times after LPS injection. Total liver protein from individual mice was immunoblotted for Atg7, LC3, p62, and tubulin as a loading control.
