The third through fifth columns indicate amounts (in yen) received by the unknown persons A, B, and C in the distribution task, and amounts received by the participant if event A, B, or C occurred (with 1/3 probability each) in the gambling task. The sixth column indicates the total amount, the seventh column indicates the minimum amount, and the last column indicates the Gini coefficient for each option. The order of the three options in each choice set and the order of the 40 choice sets were randomized across participants and the two tasks, and did not follow the order of entries in the table.
