Kallistatin decreases miR-21 expression, Akt phosphorylation and Bcl-2 expression, but increases BAX synthesis in MDA-MB-231 cells. (A) miR-21 expression levels were significantly reduced by kallistatin, as indicated by real-time PCR (n = 3). (B) Western blot analysis showed that Akt phosphorylation was decreased after kallistatin treatment (n = 3).
