Isoprenoids (carotenoids, chlorophylls, ubiquinone, and a-tocopherol) were identified and quantified by LC-DAD-APCI-MS and data are expressed as μg/mg DW; other metabolite precursors were detected and relatively quantified by LC-APCI-MS (lipids) and LC-ESI-MS (amino acids, phenylpropanoids, terpene glucosides) and data are expressed as fold on the internal standard level (APCI, a-tocopherol acetate; ESI, formononetin).
