Whiskers represent the 5th and 95th percentiles and circles represent outliers. Serum cystatin C concentrations were significantly higher in hyperthyroid cats than healthy nonazotemic older cats (P = .001). Serum cystatin C concentrations were not significantly different between the healthy older cat and nonhyperthyroid azotemic CKD groups (P = .16).
