Chondroitinase ABC reduces proteoglycan content in the NP: (A) as expected, the glycosaminoglycan content significantly decreased in the NPs injected with 20 U/mL Chondroitinase ABC compared with the NPs injected with PBS (set as 1); (B) collagens; (C) DNA content; and (D) water content remained unchanged.
