The labile protons from the 3 hydroxy groups per glucose are exchanged reflecting the D₂O/H₂O ratio of the solvent. The crossing point of the water line with the protein and cellulose represents the “matching” point. The SLD for HRP was calculated from the fitting of the NR curve.
