Reduction in bacterial adherence in the presence of polyclonal rabbit antibodies. E. coli strain CFT073 was incubated with 50% sera from rabbits immunized with the FimH, CsgA, PapG, FC, and FCP proteins and HTB5 bladder cells (MOI 1:100) for 2 h. Polyclonal rabbit antibodies favored differing reductions in bacterial adherence (CFU/mL and percentage) compared with basal adherence of the strain CFT073 and pooled pre-immune sera.
