APL is enriched on chromatin following cellular exposure to cisplatin in a manner dependent on its macrodomain. (A) Dictyostelium apl⁻ cells expressing Myc–APL were treated with the indicated DNA-damaging agents and chromatin or whole-cell extracts prepared. Western blotting was performed with the indicated antibodies. (B) Dictyostelium apl⁻ cells expressing full-length Myc-tagged APL (Myc–APL), or a form of APL with its macrodomain deleted (Myc–APL-ΔMacro), were exposed to cisplatin alongside cells transfected with an empty vector.
