Subscale Behavioral Manifestation
Inhibit The ability to control or inhibit behavior. E.g. “I am impulsive.”
Shift The ability to transition and switch freely between situations. E.g. “I have trouble changing from one activity or task to another.”
Emotional Control The ability to appropriately modulate emotional reactions to a situation. E.g. “I have angry outbursts.”
Self-monitor (Monitor, Version-SR) Awareness of own behavior and its effects on others. E.g. “I don't know when my actions bother others.”
Initiate (Version-A only) The ability to start an activity with ease. E.g. “I have problems getting started on my own.”
Working Memory The ability to hold goal-related information internally for a specific task or reason. E.g. “I forget what I'm doing in the middle of things.”
Plan/Organize Prospective thinking and anticipation of future events/actions. E.g. “I don't plan ahead for future activities.”
Task Monitor (Task Completion, Version-SR) The ability to assess and monitor performance in completing a task. E.g. “I have trouble finishing tasks.”
Organization of materials The ability to keep environment organized. E.g. “I lose things.”
