  1. Fresh bone marrow (BM) mononuclear cells were collected from acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient. Proliferation (i) and ROS production (ii) were analyzed after cells were treated for 4 days.
  2. Fresh BM mononuclear cells collected from AML patient were treated for up to 6 days. Transcription of RA‐target genes was analyzed with qRT–PCR at day 2, 3, and 6 (i). Both proliferation and ROS production were assessed at day 3 in parallel (ii, iii).
