(a) Correlation between applied tissue strain and measured mineral strain. Segmental-shift approach for bone tissue [44] gives closer relationship having lower R2 value. (b) Comparison of mineral strain along loading direction with the previous results using scintillation counter [44] at applied strain of 0.001. A similar standard error range in the case of imaging plate was observed by the segmental-shift (SS) method.
