Effects of trans-resveratrol and MSE on CYP mRNA expression (1 week of feeding). C57BL/6J mice (male, 10 weeks of age) were fed experimental diets containing 0%, 0.005%, 0.05%, or 0.5% (w/w) trans-resveratrol (A) or MSE (B) for 1 week. After overnight fasting, the mice were killed, and the mRNA expression levels of the major CYP subtypes in the liver were measured using real-time qPCR methods.
