Baseline and 24-week 3D ultrasound measures of total plaque area (TPA) in patient with rheumatoid arthritis indicative of atherosclerotic plaque progression (TPA baseline - 0.44mm2 and TPA at week 24 - 0.68mm2). The cross-sectional area of each plaque was measured in the longitudinal view. TPA was the sum of all plaques between the clavicle and the angle of the jaw in both left and right carotid arteries.
