In vitro neural selectivity is reported from (Huang et al., 2008, Xia et al., 2008), for any of the neural-derived cell lines: HEK293, SH-SY5Y, SK-N-SH, or N2a, that was 10-fold more sensitive (10-fold lower IC50) to the toxicant than the median of the other 9 cell lines in the study.
