Moraxella catarrhalis‐induced recruitment of NF‐κB to the CXCL8 promotor region is CEACAM3‐dependent. Human granulocytes were stimulated for 1 h with M. catarrhalis strain BBH18 (MOI 50) with or without pre‐incubation (1 h) with the CEACAM3‐blocking antibody [Col‐1] or CEACAM1‐blocking antibody and promoter localization of c‐Rel, p65 and Pol II were assessed by PCR after chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) (A).
