(B) Benzylparaben inhibits FAAH through a mixed type mechanism as evidenced by a change in Vmaxapp (5.5 RFU/s to 2.0 RFU/s) and KMapp (18 μM to 98 μM). The calculated Ki and α assuming a linear mixed-type model of inhibition is 52 ± 14 nM and 9.7 ± 6.6, respectively.
