Effects of IS on the expressions of cyclin D1 and cyclin A2 in MCs. After MCs were treated with IS, cyclin D1 (a) and cyclin A2 (b) mRNA levels were elevated in a dose-dependent manner following 24 h treatment. Meanwhile, a time-dependent induction of cyclin D1 and cyclin A2 mRNA expressions was tested (c and d). Protein levels of cyclin D1 and cyclin A2 were also detected using dose- and time-dependent experiments (e–h). All values are means ± SD; n = 6 in each group; P < 0.05 versus control and ∗∗ P < 0.01 versus control.
