Inhibition of [3H]methylspiperone binding to human recombinant D₂, D₃ or D₄ dopamine receptors by buspirone. Membranes from HEK293 cells were prepared and used for radioligand binding assays as described in Method. Specific binding is expressed as a percentage of the maximum observed in each experiment. Results are the average of three independent experiments, each done in triplicate. The average k_i values for buspirone and its metabolites are shown in Table 1.
