(A) There were few MPs in the plasma from healthy patients, and those MPs were negative for Pgp expression. (B) Numerous, clustered MPs were detected in the plasma samples from 30 cancer patients without TF activity, although these MPs showed very low expression of Pgp. (C) Numerous, clustered MPs were detected in the plasma samples from 20 cancer patients with elevated TF activity, and these MPs showed a high expression of Pgp, as indicated by the intense brown colouration.
