BMP6 increases surface expression of E-selectin, VCAM-1 and ICAM-1 on LPS-stimulated blood outgrowth endothelial cells (BOECs). BOECs were treated with BMP6 (16 h; 50 ng/ml) prior to the addition of LPS (4 h; 100 ng/ml). Flow cytometry was performed to assess surface expression of (A) E-selectin (FITC-conjugated anti-human E-selectin), (B) VCAM-1 (PE-Cy5-conjugated anti-human VCAM-1) and (C) ICAM-1 (APC-conjugated anti-human ICAM-1). Forward scatter and side scatter gating was applied to BOECs. Histograms are representative of 3 replicates. Graphs show median fluorescence intensity (MFI) expressed as fold change relative to untreated BOECs. Error bars correspond to ± SEM, n=3.
