Increase in CD16 mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) and glycosylphosphatidylinositol‐anchored 80 kD protein (GPI‐80)+ MFI in CD33hi cell populations from metastatic renal cell carcinoma (mRCC) patients. (a) Neutrophil maturation markers (GPI‐80 MFI and CD16 MFI) and immunosuppressive molecules {[latency‐associated peptide (LAP)‐1 (transforming growth factor (TGF)‐β1] MFI, CellROX MFI and IL‐10+ cells} were measured in CD33hi cell (monocytic cell type) populations from peripheral blood of healthy volunteers and mRCC patients. (b) Correlation between GPI‐80 MFI and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production (upper figure) or between CD16 MFI and LAP‐1 (TGF‐β1) MFI (lower figure).
