asdhB mutations were identified using a PIRA–PCR technique (Veloukas et al., 2011) and confirmed by direct sequencing of sdhB using the primer pair IpBcBeg-IpBcend (Leroux et al., 2010). bIsolates possessing the P225L and P225T mutations were kindly offered to us by Dr. Gerd Stammler (BASF, Limburgerhof, Germany).
