MCP-1 in R1-expressing MC is suppressed after AGE stimulation. Synchronized quiescent mock (A) or R1-MC (B) were incubated with different concentrations of AGE-BSA. After 8 h, total RNA was isolated and subjected to RT-PCR with specific primers for murine MCP-1 and β-actin. After gel electrophoresis, PCR products were visualized with ethidium bromide.
