Dose-dependent vasoconstriction of the basilar arteries from nontransgenic (NT) and S-CUL3Δ9 mice. Arteries were equilibrated for 30 minutes at 60 mmHg under no-flow conditions, and vasoconstriction responses to angiotensin II (A, n = 7), phenylephrine (B, n = 7), endothelin-1 (C, n = 7–10), potassium chloride (D, n = 3–5), 5-hydroxytryptamine hydrochloride (5-HT or serotonin) (E, n = 7), and the thromboxane A2 mimetic (U46619) (F, n = 3) were assessed. Error bars represent the mean ± SEM. *P < 0.05 by 2-way repeated-measure ANOVA.
