Mice were injected i.p. at day −5, day 0 and at day 3 with scrambled siRNA (n = 5), MASP-1/3 siRNA (n = 5) and Df siRNA (n =5). Total RNA was prepared from the knee joints containing synovium and mRNA levels were measured for MASPs, complement components and cytokines. p values were compared between CAIA mice treated either with scrambled siRNA and siRNAs MASP-1/3 or siRNA Df. p < 0.05 = significant.
