Q8‐dependence of split‐luciferase activity. A) Pre‐incubation with increasing Q8 concentrations results in a higher enzymatic activity. B) The enzymatic activity of the split‐luciferase can be controlled step‐wise by Q8. The colored lines depict the activity of different amounts of premixed Q8 with 0.5 μm of each split‐luciferase fragment.
