Tangshen formula (TSF) promotes silent mating type information regulation 2 homolog 1 (Sirt1) upregulation and activates the Sirt1/peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor (PPARα)/malonyl-CoA decarboxylase (MLYCD) signaling pathway.
