LLL12, FLLL32 and Stattic-mediated inhibition of tumorsphere formation of CD44+/CD24+ (A) and ALDH+ (B) subpopulations of pancreatic cancer cells. ALDH+ and CD44+/CD24+ cells were plated as single cells in ultra-low attachment six-well plates at 25,000 cells/well). On the second day, the ALDH+ and CD44+/CD24+ cancer cells were treated with 2.5–10 μmol/l of LLL12, FLLL32, or Stattic. Tumorspheres were observed under a microscope 3–4 weeks later.
