PLS-DA score plots that show discrimination of male mice fed a 45%-fat diet with or without HAMRS2 supplementation. PLS-DA models were fit with plasma (A) and liver (B) metabolites. Annotated metabolites contributing to these plots are shown in Tables 4 and 5; nonannotated metabolites are shown in Supplemental Tables 2 and 3. PLS-DA model development used 10 mice in the control group and 9 mice in the HAMRS2 group; therefore, score plots represent results from the PLS-DA model.
