Based on information available from the RDP (release 11, update 4) and SILVA (release 123) databases. The numbers of sequences in each corresponding database are 3,333,501 (RDP, March 2016) and 1,756,783 (SILVA, March 2016). mism, mismatch(es). Reported are the numbers of sequences (hits) which theoretically hybridize with the probe, allowing for the given number of mismatches.
