Comparison of hit IC₅₀s for different assays^a

^aIC₅₀s for glucose uptake in freed parasites were determined from dose-response curves shown in Fig. 4. IC₅₀s for inhibition of growth of P. falciparum strain 3D7 intraerythrocytic forms by each compound were determined via a growth inhibition assays as described in Materials and Methods. Half-maximal effective concentrations (EC₅₀s) provided with the malaria box and IC₅₀ values determined by Ortiz et al.
