Cells were exposed to LCA for 60 min in culture medium containing 10 mM fluorescent probe dye (CM-H2DCFDA). H202 (20 µM) was used as a positive control for ROS production, which was measured using a fluorescence spectrophotometer. (#) A statistically significant difference between DMSO- and H202-treated cells. (*) A statistically significant diffference between DMSO- and LCA-treated cells determined by one-way ANOVA followed by a Dunnett test.
