Note. The latent responses were identified by placing constraints on the threshold parameters. CFI (default) is the CFI value that Mplus produces using the default standard null model. CFI (corrected) is the corrected CFI value calculated using a more restricted null model that constrains all thresholds to be invariant across measurement waves. Widaman and Thompson (2003) point that that when the CFI value calculated using the standard null model approaches unity, using a more constrained, alternative null model will not greatly change the CFI value. CFI = comparative fit index; RMSEA = root-mean-square error of approximation.
