Among patients aged 20 to 49 years, the hazard ratios ranged from 1.59 for patients with hypertension to 2.67 for those with congestive heart failure compared with patients with a CHA2DS2‐VASc score of 0 (men) or 1 (women). AF indicates atrial fibrillation.
