Notes: BChE activity change (normalized to admission) correlated with the ISS when measured 1 and 2 h after admission to the ER (A and B, respectively). The correlation was lost when measured 3–5 h after admission (C–E). rs_1–5 is the Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient.
