SEM-EDS analyses of Citipati claw sheath material. These six elements represent approximately 97% (by mass) of the X-rays detected. Quantitative data show oxygen is dominant in both white claw sheath material and sediment; however, there was a relatively greater amount of calcium detected in the claw sheath than in the sediment.
