Adult zebrafish, Danio rerio, infected with Pseudoloma neurophilia. This fish shows grossly visible signs of infection with associated spinal curvature. Most P. neurophilia infections are chronic and fish show little to no signs of infection, confounding the detection of this parasite. Bar = 1 mm.
