(A) Schematic protocol for AOM/DSS-induced colorectal tumorigenesis. At 8 weeks of age, AhrΔ2/Δ2 (n=20) and WT mice (n=37) were treated with a single dose of 10 mg/kg body weight of AOM by IP injection. Seven days after the AOM injection, the mice were given 1% DSS by drinking water for 5 days. Sixteen weeks later, the mice were sacrificed for evaluation of colorectal tumorigenesis.
