Data are means ± SEM, n = 7–10 per group. *Ammonia concentrations in mice given 300 or 400 mg/kg of acetaminophen were different from levels in the other groups by one-way ANOVA, with Student–Newman–Keuls, p < 0.05, but were not different from each other.
