(A) PA induced a concentration-dependent activation of JNK and CHOP in vitro. The cells were treated with the indicted concentrations of PA for 24 h and the phosphorylation of JNK and CHOP expression was examined by western blotting. (B) Inhibitory effect of GCM on PA-mediated JNK and CHOP activation in vitro. The cells were exposed to PA in the presence or absence of GCM for 24 h and then the changes of JNK phosphorylation and CHOP expression were assessed by western blotting. (C) Inactivation of JNK and CHOP by GCM in liver samples analyzed by western blotting.
